ABOUT ADRIENNE

Adrienne Rommel C.N.P. Hons is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, RYT-200hr Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher, and Paddle Canada Certified SUP Instructor from Toronto, Canada, and is the founder of Balanced Adventure Retreats.

She combines her passion for travel and adventure with her love of yoga and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), specializing in international retreats in off-the-beaten-path destinations. Her retreats are designed for single travelers, couples, and groups of various ages who are looking for more than an all-inclusive 5-Star hotel experience, and who want to connect with like-minded people in an intimate atmosphere.

YOGA+SUP

Adrienne teaches a variety of yoga styles including hatha flow, restorative and yin yoga both on the mat and on the water, as well as SUP instruction, suitable for all levels. She always bases her retreat locations wherever SUP and other watersports like surfing and kitesurfing are available.

NUTRITION

As a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, she knows what is best for her clients’ health. Adrienne specializes in helping people live a sugar-free lifestyle by creating sugar detox programs, advising on anti-candida, paleo and vegan diets, weight loss programs, providing weight management consultations and education about meal preparation and planning.

RETREATS

Adrienne’s retreats are hosted at eco-friendly, boutique locations with high standards and quality service that cater to health-conscious living and always include delicious and nutritious cuisine, the finest choices of adult beverages, cultural activities and adventure.
